(Integrated Programs) Post Graduate Programs, Advanced Diploma Programs, Post Graduate Diploma, M.Phil. / Ph.D. and others through the University of Hyderabad Entrance Examination – 2015 for the Indian domiciled applicants, and for Direct Admission in case of Foreign nationals and Non-Resident Indians.

University of Hyderabad Entrance Examination – 2015 Scheme and Criteria:

The University of Hyderabad Entrance Examination – 2015 shall be Online Tests comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions with Negative Marking.

Those Schools / Departments / Centers, which may set the entire paper as “Objective Type”, may follow negative marking for Part- ‘B’ of the question paper as well.

The University of Hyderabad  would adopt the following criteria, in sequence to resolve ties, where candidates secure the same marks in the University of Hyderabad Written Test:

 (a) First criterion: Marks obtained in Part – A of the University of Hyderabad Written Test.

(b) Second criterion: Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree/other examination. If the final result is not available, then the marks up to the 2nd year will be taken into account.

(c) Third criterion: Marks obtained in the degree examination immediately preceding the qualifying Degree examination.

(d) Fourth criterion: Marks obtained in the next lower Public Examination.

Interviews:

The University of Hyderabad shall shortlist the candidates for admission in M.Phil., M.Tech., and Ph.D. on the basis of University of Hyderabad  Written Test – 2015 and those exempted from Written Test (on the basis of UGC / CSIR-JRF, RGNF / MANF, (NBHM, in the case of Ph.D. for Maths, ICMR/ ICAR/DBT Fellowship for Ph.D. in the School of Life Sciences), and ICMR Fellowship for Ph.D. in the School of Social Sciences, Ph.D. Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology, Integrated M.Phil. / Ph.D. cognitive Science and Integrated M.Sc. / Ph.D. Biotechnology, Physics, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, Health Psychology, MBA Health Care and Hospital Management and the courses offered by the S.N. School likely to be held in May 2015, in the respective Schools/ Departments/ Centers. The University of Hyderabad shall publish and display the exact dates of the interview / Practical Test on the University Website for the information of the shortlisted candidates.



 Eligibility:

The candidates set to complete their Examination by June 2015 are eligible to apply.

Application Fee:

In 2014, the Application Fee payable by the candidates was Rs.350/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in the case of SC / ST / PWD (PH) candidates.

Mode of Payment of Examination Fee:

(i) Bank Challan and (ii) Online (Net Banking).

Through University of Hyderabad Website Online.

Before applying Online, the candidate must have a scanned (Digital) Image of his / her photograph, signature and caste certificate in case of SC / ST / OBC Category and PH/DP Certificate, if applicable.
