Job Details:
* Good Communication skills
* Purpose of Department Global Finance Operations (GFO) provides a variety of financial support services to business partners over the HSBC Group
* Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)
* Liquidity Reporting Data Analyst is required for reviewing data flows and data models from quality and consistency perspective; and proactively engage in activities
such as requirements validation, proper coverage, supporting UAT activities and establishing quality checkpoints to allow for delivery of high quality releases.
* The incumbent is expected to: Have a foundation in Assets & Liabilities Management, related business & technology; and an understanding of liquidity requirements for
FSA liquidity, OCP, A&L and Basel III liquidity ratios (LCR & NSFR) in order to ensure the system (GLRS) meets the business requirements.
* Review various system outputs, complete gap analysis & impact assessments, and provide business insight & guidance to support UAT testers and business stakeholders
during UAT phase on proper coverage from business perspective.
*Understand core issues that affect business platforms from both a technical and business perspective, especially the requirements for data quality, integrity and
visibility; and propose solutions to remediate these issues.
* Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas Impact on the Business
* Understand global LR framework i.e. process (technical solution), regulatory requirements for data purposes & systems.
* Understand and support in documentation of global LR data requirements for banking and trading book data.
* Support testing of FinArch system that will produce FSA 047/048, OCP, A&L and Basel III (LCR & NSFR) reports.
* Work with HBAP team for data reconciliation, preliminary report validation, data issue investigation and management as well as problem analysis
* Review, understand and analyze current manual process (where exists and matured) - to be able to explain gaps to system reports and raise issues for resolution
through bug fixes, reference data update or policy clarification.
* Ensure ongoing data analysis support for seamless service delivery of LR reports to various onshore partners to agreed service levels
* Support Onshore teams in User Acceptance Testing as required.
* High customer relationship feedback metrics.
* Consistent delivery of processes to agreed SLAs.
